We moved onto Victoria, TX with high expectations. Chris got some good preparation in around the crazy Pro-Am but it just didn't translate into making the cut. We were pretty bummed, but are thankful to God for the host family that he placed us with for that week. We got to stay with the Edwards family that included a special 5 year old girl named Harper. We were able to see great examples of parenting that I'm sure will stick with us in the future.
Last Monday Chris played in a Six Tour event at Hermitage and won in a playoff. Six Tour Click the following link to see a write-up on the one-day tournament: Six Tour Document
Yesterday Chris flew out to Reno (he would love to live in Carson) to prepare for the Sierra Nevada Open, a two-day tournament that will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday. The winner gets a spot in the Reno Tahoe Open which is a PGA event. I believe he's already eaten In and Out Burger 3 times in his first 24 hours! I would've loved to have flown out there with him but I had to stay back for the job hunt! More Sierra Nevada Open info. to come!
As a side note, our computer caught a virus while we were in TX and I just got it back yesterday so for once I have a good reason for not keeping this updated!
