Chris played in a Florida Pro Golf Tour event on February 5th and 6th. He finished 5th, results can be found:
FPGT Results Page So, that was a fun start to the year. But, the biggest news of all for this first trip of 2011 is... Skype is amazing! It's been great being able to see each other while we talk. And I've been able to check out his hotel rooms to make sure he's got a nice place to stay. I'm already looking forward to traveling with him this summer so I can read a lot of books and do my running all over. Running is my new sport (since Chris has one, why can't I?) with a goal of a 1/2 marathon in April. I'll post updates here as well to show how my progress goes. I'm really jealous of his temps in Florida right now when I'm running in the Tennessee winter. Chris is practicing and preparing for a Peach State tournament at the end of the week, so I'll post more about that later.
